またたく間に、2018年最初の1ヶ月が過ぎ去っていきました。みなさん一人一人が、この新しい年 2018年に何をすべきなのかを考え、自分自身を整える時間を取れたことを願います。

もしまだできていなかったとしても、遅すぎることはありません。有名な作家であり教師である、 C.S.ルイスの言葉をシェアさせていただきます。

「あなたは過去に戻って物事の始まりを変えることはできないけれども、今ある場所からスタートして結末を変えることはできる。」

先週FCBC横浜にて、クリスティーナ牧師が主の祈りについてメッセージを語りました。私たちは 天の父なる神と個人的に関係を持っているので、私たちは天の国民です。 日本に神の御国が来て、御心がなされるために、祈りを持って求めていきましょう。ぜひ主の祈り を暗記して、定期的に祈ることをお勧めします。また賛美の中で、彼の御名を日々賛美していきま しょう。

カレブ牧師とクリスティーナ牧師は、旧正月を家族と過ごすため2週間ほどシンガポールに滞在し ます。カレブ牧師が不在の2月18日には、稲福エルマ牧師が来てメッセージを語ってくださいま す。

With the blink of an eye, the first month of 2018 is already behind us. We hope you had time to think and pray as you prepare yourself for a brand new year ahead. If not, it is still not too late. I like this quote by a famous author and teacher C.S. Lewis :

“You cannot go back and change the beginning but you can start where you are and change the ending.”

Last Sunday at FCBC Yokohama, Ps Christina preached on the Lord’s Prayer. We have a personal relationship with God as our Father and we are citizens of heaven. Let’s make this our prayer and desire to see His Kingdom come and His Will be done in Japan. We like you to memorize and pray regularly with this prayer. Let’s also worship and praise His Name in our daily lives.

“… Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. ( For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory forever and ever ) “ Amen
